In short: Auto-Enforcement sends takedown notices automatically for posts that match criteria you set in advance, so clear-cut infringements are removed without waiting for manual review.
Understanding Auto-Enforcement
Auto-Enforcement lets Zeal identify and execute enforcement notices against online infringements without human review. Instead of waiting for an analyst or client to audit a threat manually, you define specific criteria beforehand.
When a post matches those conditions, the system triggers the enforcement pipeline, so obvious infringements are acted on faster.
1. How it works: the execution loop
Knowing the loop helps you see where an auto-enforced post goes and when its notice is sent. When an Auto-Enforcement rule is active, the system follows four steps:
Match: a post is detected that matches your pre-defined rule parameters.
Flag: the system marks the post as Eligible for Takedown.
Queue: the post bypasses manual triage and appears in Enforcement (Notice View).
Enforce: Zeal dispatches the takedown notice directly to the host platform, such as a marketplace, social media platform or domain.

2. Rule parameters and triggers
Combining several data points in one rule makes sure automation only applies to the violations you specify.
Image signals: the system scans for detected logos or image labels, such as images flagged as "counterfeit" or "unauthorized use".
Post content and context: rules can evaluate keywords in titles and descriptions, obfuscated brand names, stock counts, specific post tags, price thresholds or shipping information.
Seller behaviour: rules can use account-level data, such as whether a seller is labelled a Repeat Offender or whether their follower count falls below a specified threshold.
