Domains Configuration

Choose which websites, marketplaces and social platforms Zeal monitors for your brand, and how often each one is crawled.

In short: In Settings > Crawling Configuration > Domains you choose which domains Zeal monitors and set a tier for each one, which decides how often it's crawled.

Understanding domains configuration

Domains configuration decides where Zeal looks for infringements: the websites, marketplaces and social platforms that are automatically monitored for your brand. Getting it right keeps your coverage focused on the platforms that matter most.

Admins, Brand Partners and QAs can configure domains. The number of domains included depends on your contract with Corsearch. If you need a domain that isn't currently available, contact your Brand Partner.

1. Add domains for scraping

Add a domain to start collecting data from it automatically.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Crawling Configuration > Domains and click Add domains or the + button.

  2. Select the domains for crawling. You can search, or filter by geography and website category.

  3. Set a tier for each domain using the tier dropdown.

The most common website categories are Marketplace, Social Media, E-commerce and Ads.

The selected domains are now configured and automatically begin collecting data.

Note: Most global platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, are allocated the geography USA, so filter by USA to find them.

What the tiers mean

Tiers set the crawling frequency. Tier 1 represents the tracked platforms as agreed in your contract.

  • Tier 1: once a day or more.

  • Tier 2: every 2-3 days.

  • Tier 3: weekly.

2. Update domains for scraping

You can update your domain settings at any time, including tier assignment, deletion and bulk actions.

Modify a tier

Adjust the tier of a domain using the dropdown in the Tiers column. As a guideline:

  • Smaller brands: up to 10 Tier 1 platforms.

  • Larger clients: up to 90 Tier 1 platforms.

Tip: Lower a domain's tier to monitor it less often; this is useful for platforms with low volumes of relevant content.

Delete a domain

Hover over the domain row and click the trash icon to remove the domain from tracking.

Bulk actions

Use the checkboxes to select several domains, then apply a bulk action to change their tiers or remove them all at once.

Domains configured for enforcement

Domains marked with a bolded flag are configured for enforcement in the Enforce Domains section. Domains without a flag are not configured for enforcement and are used for scraping only.
