In short: Admins and QAs can add the keywords and hashtags Zeal searches across your crawled domains, one by one or in bulk via Excel, and mark the most distinctive ones as priority.
Understanding keywords and hashtags
Admins and QAs can configure the keywords and hashtags searched across your crawled domains, helping Zeal capture relevant or infringing content.
Any changes to keywords or hashtags take effect the next time those domains are scraped.
1. Add keywords
Keywords tell Zeal which terms to search for on your tracked domains.
Go to Settings > Crawling > Keywords.
Set the Language for the keyword. This is used to translate the term for crawls.
Optional: click the star to toggle Priority keyword if it's a high-importance term. Priority keywords also show up in the Visibility section of the Dashboard.
Save your changes by clicking the checkbox symbol. Your updates are applied the next time those domains are crawled.
Translation, Source and Last Edited date are populated automatically.
Tip: Use priority sparingly, for distinctive terms such as your brand name, so results stay relevant.

2. Add hashtags
Hashtags let Zeal follow the tags infringers and sellers use on social platforms.
Go to Settings > Crawling > Hashtags.
Select + or the Add Hashtag button to add a new hashtag.
Add the Hashtag name and the language of the hashtag.
Select the star icon if it's a priority hashtag. Priority hashtags are also tracked in the Dashboard.
Important: You can set three priority hashtags per language. Limit them to distinctive hashtags, such as your brand name, to get relevant results when crawled.

3. Add keywords and hashtags via Excel upload
Use this to add many keywords and hashtags at once in a single file.
Click the upload button to access the template, then upload an Excel file of keywords.
Fill out the Excel template. You can use the same template to upload both keywords and hashtags in one file.
There are two required fields:
Name: the name of the keyword or hashtag.
Type: "KEYWORD" or "HASHTAG", to say whether it's a keyword or a hashtag.
You can also set the language and priority in the Excel file:
Language: use the ISO codes, e.g. "EN".
Is_Priority: use "Y" or "N" to set priority. You can set a maximum of 3 priority keywords per language.
