In short: Product Lines group related products and Products are the specific items within them. Set up your Product Lines first, then add Products to them, one at a time or in bulk.
Understanding Product Lines & Products
Product Lines & Products let you structure your brand's catalogue in a clear and scalable way. This helps Zeal understand what you sell and how individual products relate to broader categories, enabling more accurate classification, filtering, tracking, analysis and reporting.
Product Line: a group of related products that belong to the same category.
Product: a specific item or model within a product line. It represents an individual SKU, model name or concrete offering.

Important: Configure your Product Lines first, as each individual Product is created and managed within an existing Product Line.
1. Add Product Lines
Start here: Product Lines are the structure your Products sit in.
Add a Product Line
Go to Settings and click Categories → Product Line.
Click the plus icon to add a new Product Line.
Type the product line name.
Add a parent product line. The first product line you configure is treated as the parent product line.
Select the Category the Product Line belongs to.
Add the keywords you want. These keywords let Zeal automatically identify content and associate it with this product line.
Click Add.
Add Product Lines in bulk
Use the bulk upload option to add multiple product lines at once.
Go to Settings and click Categories → Product Line.
Click the upward arrow icon, then click Download template.
Fill in the Excel template. The template includes a second tab (Glossary) to guide you as you complete the file.
Save the Excel file.
Drag and drop or upload the Excel file.
Once the file is uploaded, all product lines in the Excel sheet are displayed on screen.

2. Add Products
Add Products to record the specific items and models you sell within each Product Line.
Add a Product
Go to Settings and click Categories → Product.
Click the upward arrow icon to add a new product.
Type the product name.
Add a parent product line.
Add specific identifiers (e.g. SKU, ASIN, EAN and others).
Add the price for this product (optional).
Click Add.
Add Products in bulk
Use the bulk upload option to add multiple products at once.
Go to Settings and click Categories → Product.
Click the upward arrow icon, then click Download template.
Fill in the Excel template. The template includes a second tab (Glossary) to guide you as you complete the file.
Save the Excel file.
