In short: Ask Cortex lets you ask questions about your moderation and enforcement data in plain English and get instant answers, with tables and explanations, right inside Zeal.
Understanding Ask Cortex
Getting answers from your data usually means filtering, exporting and analysing it yourself, or waiting for a custom report. Ask Cortex is an AI-powered analytics assistant built into Zeal that does the work for you: think of it as a data analyst who's available 24/7.
Ask a question in plain English, such as "Which platforms had the most counterfeit listings last month?", and Ask Cortex replies with a data-backed answer, a table and a short explanation of what it found.
Note: Ask Cortex is in Beta and available to selected Programs. If you can't see it in Zeal and would like access, speak to your Account Manager.
1. What you can ask
Ask about your listings, moderation and enforcement in the same way you'd ask a colleague. Here are the kinds of question Ask Cortex answers best.
Type of question | Example |
Rankings | "Which product categories have the most counterfeit listings this month?" |
Trends over time | "How has the number of counterfeit listings changed over the last six months?" |
Breakdowns | "Break down last quarter's enforcements by platform." |
Comparisons | "Compare enforcement volumes in France and Germany this year." |
Speed | "What's the average time to enforce for listings moderated last month?" |

4. How to get the best results
A few habits make the answers sharper and more accurate.
Be specific
The more specific the question, the better the answer. Add a timeframe, location or platform: instead of "How are we doing?", try "Show me the top 10 countries where counterfeit listings were enforced last quarter."
Drill down with follow-ups
Use the suggested follow-up questions, or ask your own, to narrow down the first answer, e.g. "Can you break that down by product category?"
Pick the right Organisation
Each conversation only looks at the Organisations you select when you start it.
Tip: Starting a new topic? Start a new conversation and check the Organisation selection, so Ask Cortex queries the right data.
